Scotland - Fife to Edinburgh

The statue in Lower Largo of Alexander Selkirk is a reminder of his ordeal in the 1600s when he was set ashore alone on a Pacific Island and wasn't rescued until more than 4 years later. His true story is said to have inspired Daniel Defoe's book, Robinson Crusoe.
